Defense

Our alliance defense is 100-0-0 or 0-0-100 with either 100% melee or split 80%/20% melee/ranged. If you are off line/out of game and you have the alliance defense set up, you will get troops support from those who are in game n can get to U in time. This defense is designed to defeat your attacker from getting a 30% bonus in the courtyard. It's not to be set up any other way. Not 1%-1%-98% or anything else.

 

 

The Yard Bonus:

 

After the initial attack, the surviving soldiers of both sides, if any, fall into the yard of the castle. There are four possibilities.

1. The defender manages to hold all three flanks, and then he wins.

2. The defender manages to hold two flanks, then he gets a +30% bonus for the yard fight, meaning 71 defending soldiers can win 100 offending, of the same fight power.

3. The defender manages to hold one flank, and then he gets 0% bonus for the yard fight meaning his defending soldiers fight equally against the offending.

4. The defender loses all three flanks, and then he gets a -30% bonus, meaning 71 offending soldiers can win 100 defending, of the same fight power.

So, how should we adjust the percentage sliders, to get the best defense setup? Remember, the max. capacity of your wall is 320 soldiers.
